Great stuff, Suzanne! No one likes to read boring copy... even sales people! HA! Our Senior Copywriter always stresses the importance of making our sales copy timely. Sometimes this can be quite difficult, but our scribers always seem to churn out strong copy. They rock!
Excellent advice. I just wanted a video that stressed the importance of knowing the language and thoughts of your prospects before writing anything. But this helped a lot. Thanks
This advice is not only timely, it's timeless. "Show don't tell" paints pictures in the reader's mind that have the potential to make an indelible impression causing the reader to act. Boring, trite and buzz word filled copy falls on a deaf cash register, I mean ears.

You certainly pack plenty into the three minutes or so you're 'on air'! As an English copywriter, I've been back through your video several times and I must say it's refreshing that strong copywriting points are brought to life in this way. Of course, it helps when one is as telegenic as Suzanne!
A killer copywriter wanted to start using Youtube so she wrote the greatest scripts and got started. However the emotion and punch didn't carry over because she forgot to look into the camera and engage the viewer ;-)
GREAT LESSON!
OMG, r CWs morons?! this is ur INSIGHT, ur 'TRICK', ur edge?! pathetic. it's like saying 'if u want to drive a car from point A to point B don't just turn knobs and play on the wheel - it'll make u feel awesome but it won't actually get u to point B, try actually starting the car and driving it.' well... duh!
Suzanne,
Thanks for providing real life, timely copywriting tips. Just thinking about how I can show don't tell is helpful. If I paint a picture, provide benefits and be specific. Writing can be easier with real live examples. Thanks for the power.
