Can I set up the Best Shot feature to take photos for HDR editing? I want the camera to take and save 3 photos - one with normal exposure, one set up for exposure +2 and one with exposure -2.
You can record video+ zoom+ sound when you record in the "Digital Zoom" mode. You cannot record video+Zoom + sound when using the "Optical Zoom" setting. So when you select "Digital Zoom" the FH20 will record video just like any ordinary camcorder. There isn't any 10 minute video limit. I recorded regular video for 35 minutes last night. Great camera for still and video!!!
the reason it may not turn on is a problem with the metal part in the battery slot..i think its a good camera if u want to take pictures and record high speed
@ramseszerg: Oh no.. just had that 10 minutes limit in mind and couldn't imagine they'd still do this. That's too sad - and robs them of at least one "FH20 sell", since I'll never buy something as weird limited as this. I just don't even get the sense in this. Ten minutes? Uh, yeah, sure.. why even bother with videosupport at all? -.-
So, you're sayn I can't record video + zoom + record audio + adjust the volume of the zoom-sequences in the video when cutting the clip at the PC? If that's true, it's almost as funny as CASIO's "10 minutes limitation" at video recording on most other camera models (I hope not this one? Uh.. even to think of it creeps me out).
But maybe I just didn't get it right since I'm no native english speaker :-)

The US and Canada versions have a 4gigX3 limit, which is about 20 minutes HD/high speed (I think) and about 55 minutes STD. The UK and Europe versions have a 10 minute limit.
so uhm, i've been looking for this camera everywhere in canada (saskatchewan to be specific) and i can't find it anywhere. the only casio camera that is available from what i can tell is the EX-Z80 ...... can anyone help me out?!?
You didn't mention the 10 minute time limit for any video shot with the FH20. Unless the US version is different to mine (I'm in the UK). Mine came with a printed 'addendum' sheet in the box stating that the 4gb file limit for videos mentioned in the manual was incorrect and that video was limited to 10 minutes per clip.
