Hate to drop a litlle reality on yer turban there dude, but have you ever seen pictures of the earth from the moon? Or the space shuttle? The earth looks SPHERICAL, not egg shaped.

Besides, before we actually knew that, nodbody interpretted that verse that way.....lol...
...The following verse contains a description of the earth's shape:
"And the earth, moreover, hath He made egg shaped."

The Arabic word for egg here is dahaahaa1 which means an ostrich-egg. The shape of an ostrich-egg resembles the geo-spherical shape of the earth.
Thus the Qur'an correctly describes the shape of the earth, though the prevalent notion when the Qur'an was revealed was that the earth was flat.

"He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap the Day, and the Day overlap the Night."

The Arabic word used here is Kawwara meaning 'to overlap' or 'to coil'-- the way a turban is wound around the head. The overlapping or coiling of the day and night can only take place if the earth is spherical. The earth is not exactly round like a ball, but geo-spherical, i.e. it is flattened at the poles...

GOD is right -- He has painted a multi layered picture of the rise of Satan in the universe -- the superimposed faces , ghosts , wolves , vultures , lost child , mother & child , charred cross , Satan holding a charred book in a cemetery etc. -- to the beleivers God bless you for you can see the mural -- to the unbeleivers & skeptics I pray He opens your eyes , minds & hearts to His Word -- may He Bless ALL of us
Well . . My God might but isn't he "our God"? Hubble shows us a very simple part that into what we call eyes and a brain to recognize. Hopefully we can learn something from it and . . oh ya, bring God into it. Perhaps we can first understand ourselves and our place in this beautiful creation God has given us.
