I do mean a 500GB drive, I have a Canon 50D that is 15mp and the RAWs are 18-20mb each. With cameras in this size it takes no time at all to eat 500GB drive.

18MB, not 18GB, typo by me.

The G10 is great, but 14.7mp shot in RAW are about 18gb each. The G10 should come with a free 500GB external drive for my computer to store all these files!

wahahahha. time-lapse means that you can take photos automatically on pre-defined intervals, say, like every 15sec. And the annoying thing on the G10 is that, the video capture mode is in a 640x480 size compared to the G9 that it captures at 720p. I mean, it's not an upgrade then. right? I feel for Timasu. Bad canon. :(

I would have upgraded from my G9 if Canon hadn't removed features I use like time-lapse. They could have made all the improvements while still keeping the features many of us like.
