I just got one of these for free yesterday and I'm working on saving up for a lens. Thanks for the video because now I know all the controls when I do get a lens for it. Still doesn't look right beside the body of my mom's Minolta XG-1...

For me it has nothing to do with the camera but the person behind the camera. I have seen people with 2000 dollar dslrs who take pictures suited for iphones and blackberries. Absolutely boring photos with no point of view. If you know the art of photography, then you would know that you dont' need an expensive camera. Photography has nothing to do with resolution or sharpness. It's about your point of view. Its funny how now ppl w/ dslrs even want a 'grainy' look on their photographs.

@feedthekoala Personal preference is what you like best. But the fact of the matter is Digital is higher resolution in every way.

@lilduck99 "Tests" prove nothing when it comes to personal preference. ;]

@feedthekoala Yes it does. Tests confirm that DSLRS and Hassie's are superior to film quality.

I love the convenience of digital cameras, but NOTHING compares to a 35mm film camera. Sorry, guys. ;]

I would rather get a film slr so I can actually learn photography then upgrade to a dslr and know exactly what I am doing.

@randomrazr I wouldnt say its wasted thats one of the nicest film cameras you can get, and its a good skill being able to develop film, but close minded faggots like you dont have the brain power to do so.

@randomrazr You could probably, if you tried, find about 20 bucks in change on the streets of NYC. Not a waste of money, $0.99 is spit pretty much.

Hi I just got this camera as a hand-me-down. Really impressed with my pictures so far and wanted to get some new lens. What lens are you using?

  • bulletz4life

@nikibuciareli the quality does not really rely on the camera, its more about the lens and the film. So there is no point in seeing what his pictures look like if you will have a different lens and different film, as it will give you different results

@live1love2dance3 no, its a film camera. You are just going to have to hope for the best when you take the picture
