"We're kind of tuned from birth for understanding pitch in ways that are beyond just musical."
Uh... I don't know if these two even understand the concept of music.
If you guys are low on syringes to inject nicotine into dead pigs, call up a red-neck, he has trace amounts of nicotine in his saliva, & wouldn't mind injecting it into the pig.
@tictalkopenup
But the hope that religion including Christianity gives people should not be taken for granted for without it people would have been lost during dark times. I'm just saying be a little more open to science... Thanks.
@tictalkopenup
And you CAN'T BE SERIOUS that you believe that the world was created "6000" years ago... -.-
Come on. Not even the birth of a being would be believable. I just want to see some evidence or at least some reference to the source of this great concept. Thanks.
@tictalkopenup
God never said it was a sin to study, only that it was a sin to stand against his rules. Am I standing against his rules? Or your priests' rules who rewrote the Bible after it was lost? Seriously, you should examine some contents of the Bible. God won't write a book that can be proven wrong by a human being so what are you afraid of? Or are you afraid? Seems your faith is lost on each end.
I thought Jesus liked to teach people. Humans must learn to survive. Period.
@whitestar111 thats varies dependent of a whole host or variable, for example, natural mummification in peat bogs, in ice or in desert system can take many thousands of years.
Did you peep the BP involvement? This is further proof that the leak was done purposely...this will push their other agendas once the company breaks up
@marsCubed Rented batteries are a method of keeping people hooked on big industry. The technology exists for 4 hour highway capacity with a 45 minute recharge (about the time it takes for lunch).
hydrogen use results in waste power loss at near 50% or more over battery technology.
@wwickeddogg The Tesla is a proof of concept. They proved the technology works. What they lack is the financial resources to mass produce at low cost, and a political willingness to mandate an infrastructure (recharge stations at parking lots & highway rest stops)
The Volt has been used to keep electric car technology off the road ever since the EV1 was crushed.
@PlayT0E It occurrs that infrastructure for rented batteries, which could be swapped at re-feuling points, would be an elegant solution to electrification of transport systems. Battery condition could be sensed by both vehicle and exchange, batteries could be of different kinds to cater for different journey types.
We should welcome hydrogen tech research also. Who knows what we might come up with in this area.
There's interesting Australian work re; hydrogen from sun, sea and catalysts.
