Boot Camp functionality relies on BIOS >>"emulation" << through EFI and a partition table information synchronization mechanism between GPT and MBR combined.
@faulferkel Old macbook air still used grey disks even tho it didnt had optical drive.@fatliquid iam afriad you will have to order it from apple since each model got different drivers etc.
Now in 2011 I've got a new Imac 27" and i boot camped to windows...
The thing is.. I have a study on my school where i make videos (which is over 15GB a file). On my Windows.
When I boot camped To windows i said about 150GB will be enough...
Which isn't =( I still have around 300+ more on my Imac but since I dont use Imac so much..
Is there any way to get more GB on my windows?
just just want to use bootcamp so i can go on to windows 7 so i can play games on steam and and just in general what memory would u recomed? i would also be using mac os for just general computer use
I have a new Mac Mini i5 with lion, I have an external drive and when I try to bootcamp install windows my ,install hangs on loading windows files and never moves any further.anyone have any ideas
@FatLiquid Hahahaha! Where did you wanted to use those "grey disks"? MacBook Air doesn't have an optical drive, so you never had them =) Try to search the flash-dongle instead.
is there an easy way to partition your bootcamp to a bigger or smaller size? lets say i set up my windows to only hold 30G but i want more than that on their, is there a way i can do this without reinstalling the whole windows?
