@inocentforever so... God = void = nothing? You're damn right. It is a concept that has no real substance and is meaningless in relation to the real world.Thursday 21 April 2011 12:28:16

@shannonkuch you may want to look at the Multiverse theory, or the cyclic model of the universe, in which case the Big Bang isn't the only event of its kind that took place. In fact, it's embarrassingly common. As far as "where did matter and energy come from" firstly, they are one and the same (e=mc2) and secondly, energy can neither be created or destroyed. Where did it come from? It has likely always been.Thursday 21 April 2011 12:23:09

@shannonkuch " What is new about our model is that by employing dark energy and by having an infinite universe, which dilutes away the radiation and matter after every bang you actually can have an eternal cyclic universe, which could last forever. ". - Turok and Steinhardt. In any event, the explaination put forth by religion suffers from the same flaw: What created the divine Creator?Thursday 21 April 2011 11:51:17

@shannonkuch The latest is the 'cyclical' big bang theory put forth by Paul Steinhardt (Princeton U), Paul Turok (Cambridge U) and Sir Roger Penrose. Neil turok has a concise article on this at edgedotorg/3rd_culture/turok07/turok07_indexdothtm. See also, //noosspheredotprincetondotedu/paper/jseScargledotpdf.Thursday 21 April 2011 11:46:18

@MelkorHimself It is a 'trick' question. Nothing is happening at the event horizon. 'Time', in effective, stops.Thursday 21 April 2011 11:21:15

@yeshuahfullofit It's not very possible to tell what is happening right now at our galaxy's core. We can't even tell what happened a week or a month ago. The center of our galaxy lies 26000 light-years away, so what we see now is something that happened 26000 years ago.Wednesday 20 April 2011 12:12:36

Will somebody give me the answer to this question? : What is happening, right 'now', at the event horizon of the black hole in the center of our galaxy? Relatively speaking, of course. ; )Wednesday 20 April 2011 02:24:46

@shannonkuch why sir, why say its bs if you can't proof anything better. The Big Bang Theory is our best answer to the creation of the Universe. All matter was at singularity at the time of creation and this energy you speak of was a super force created by the rapidly expanding Universe. This force divided into four different ones known as gravity, electromagnetism & strong/weak nuclear force. There is no more to add to this as our perception of the universe will change as time goes on.Tuesday 19 April 2011 21:17:22

@shannonkuch Have you got any better suggestions that don't include the word "God"? It's all theories, nothing more.Tuesday 19 April 2011 21:13:53
