@shaban96 a hdmi cable is a hdmi cable, there is no noticeable diff between gold plated and non, as long as it works why pay $40 a bb for a hdmi cable when i can get a hdmi on amazon for $3 thats longer

@RE4E no, there is no difference between an expensive and cheap hdmi cable.
hdmi is digital so if the cable had a problem you would simply get no sound at all. the problem might be elsewhere.
degradation? on an HDMI cable?
these guys clearly don't know anything about the difference between analog and digital information.
in the old days of the analog cables it made sense to have gold plated expensive cables because the signal had `quality`.
but now it's all about ones and zeros, so you don't need to worry about signal quality. there will be information or no information so if anything goes wrong you wont get any `degradation` you will simply not get any picture.
it exist a difference between a cheap ass hdmi cable and a 100 bucks cable? cause i got a 10 bugs one and sometimes i have problems with the sound in my 360 dont know why

we all know HDMI signal don't degrade as long as their is a reception ,the image can be played properly
