    I think it also has less storage and, therefore, applications. I think it is good for people who have access to another computer that can do everything else (e.g. library / work / home computer). My brother has has this for about 9 months and it has survived much abuse. He has never needed the disk drive and is able to to everything else on it he would normally do on a laptop. I hope to buy on someday!

    @sunflowerorange Actually there are two types of laptop the Notebook and the Netbook...... The Notebook comes with 12 inches or higher while the netbook has a 10 or lower screen..... If you have some further information PLsss.... reply.....

    i am most likely to get this netbook very soon, the closest competitor i saw in price/specs was the newest gateway netbook that actually offered an amd athlon processor. very few netbooks offer that. practically a laptop w/ sighing specs but for a netbook, extremely good. however, around $50 more and doesn't offer the wireless n.
