Another short video of an Irish 3 foot gauge train in 15mm scale (1/20th) as running on my short garden line.
The train is all stock from County Antrim (mainly Ballymena and Larne)in the livery of the LMS Northern Counties Committee. The second wagon is a small iron ore hopper, reflecting the main reason for the construction of the line.

The Beyer Peacock 2-4-0 loco is DJB built and internally meths fired - I have included a short bit at the start showing the cab interior - just turning down the steam blower prior to starting up.

How do you make your railway look so authentic? I love how it looks a bit over grown! 5/5!

Exhaust will keep her going no problem, but I have got in the habit of leaving blower cracked open as less hassle shunting etc, and at a scale speed of 15- 20mph, if she stalls on a curve or gradient, she will self start after a second or two - magic. Also sounds good.

Nicely filmed, and a very atmospheric line.
